How do i get over a close friend ?

i've been in love with a guy whom i've been friends with for many years and im currently in yr 9 i fell in love with him in year 7 .. he was in love with me too (ever since yr7 i've sat with the group he's with which i've known since lyk yr 2 which has my besties in it ) and when he loved me he used to say things about us getting married and him having my kids and calling mebeautiful and sweet and affectionate things ..one problem i was 2 shy 2 say yes when he asked me out...when he put his arms around me i sed 'eww'' even tho i was truly in heaven...he never knew i liked him so he 'got over me'' all last year i had no idea if he still loved me or not because he sometimes did things that made e me think he did so i was currently thinking he loves me and he dusnt well..about 7 weeks ago i wanted to finally know if he did ....i got up the courage to ask him out after i asked him over the internet he said no now for myself i need to get over him but how can i when i sit on the same long chair as him at recess and we always sit next to each over in cl please help! i need to get over him lyk he got over me!
