What would happen to the royal family if the monarchy in the UK was abolished?

The Queen holds a vast amount of land in the private capacity of "Elizabeth Windsor". The land she owns as Queen (which can normally only be inherited by the next monarch) would have to be settled either before hand under mutual agreement or through the courts as the government would be breaking the contract that has currently been in place where the Government pays for the cost of the Monarchy in exchange for the profits from the crown estates. Many of the art and palaces are not owned by the Queen (often called held in trust for the nation) this means they belong to her but she cannot sell them but it only belongs to the Monarch so she cannot give away bits to other relatives. It would be very complicate process.
