Could I be allergic to my guinea pig?

A few weeks ago I cleaned my guinea pigs cage and gave her a bath. After I dried her I cuddled her, like usual, and a while later I was sorta congested. There was also a bug going around my cl and that could be the cause but my jaw and neck are really itchy an the only things I've touched are my cat and my piggy. Is this an allergy?
