Question about the antichrist..?

So will the antichrist know that that is who he is? do you think he will be familiar with the Bible and what it says? Or will he just be trying to take over the world and then realize "oops, i made a mistake" when it all goes to hell in the end (literally)....im watching the movie Left Behind right now so i just got curious lol
