I would like to connect my laptop to my TV?

crt res is 720�576 on pal and 720�480 on ntsc ,so if the resalution is higher the what the tv can handle and there will not be an image + normal res on pc is 800x600 so this image on a crt tv would look crap( like 1970 us tv show all soft around the edges)
